I used to go here back in high school because my ex-gf used to work next door at the cingular. I would visit on her breaks and we would get some boba or something sweet. I liked the boba here and the service was good. I don't remember much, but i will go back there and give an update.
This was the very first place I had boba back in 2000 or 2001. Yesterday was my first time back since then. I went just to be able to properly judge the place here on Yelp!
The menu was easy enough to order from, but what normally would have been a four-star rating dropped one because of a credit card fee that was tacked onto my final bill. I couldn't get over that. Apparently, they charge an extra $0.30 for anything under $5.00. My order for a chocolate milk boba came out to be $3.80 after the fee. The actual drink was made well (they take their time in preparing the drink), but there may have been a little too much ice this time, as I had some difficulty getting to the boba at the bottom of the drink.
I took it it to go (by the way, you should always take drinks "to go" if you're given the option at any other coffee house because you won't be dinged a "dine in" tax) and as they prepared the drink, I watched some MTV on the television hanging up on the wall. The place is nicely decorated and well-maintained. If I went with someone, I probably would have taken the time to sit down and chillax.
Good place overall. Just be sure that your final bill is over $5.00 if you're a non-cash carrier like me.

Oh nom nom nom, their frozen yogurt is delicious. Comparable to Frostone in Glendora which was just as nomnomnomnomnom [!].
They have seating towards the back in the form of long tables and a small study area for other people, whereas the tables and chairs in the front are for more of a 'hang out' type of feel.
I like how they cut the mango. And I like how ripe the mango they cut was. It was that delicious little twist that reminds me of simple days when mango didn't give me the stomach flu.
They took a very long time to make my sister's iced americano though. I could have just driven back to Coffee Bean, jumped to the back of the counters (though I no longer work there and would have been given a reprimand by whoever was on shift duty), made one, and driven back to Jumpin' Boba to give my sister her iced americano. Yeah, took that long.
My sister said it was okay though. Nothing special.
Frozen yogurt though, very good. Very nomnomnom [!].

veryyy good boba drinks here.. even the tapioca balls are just right, sweet, and chewy.
must try list:
mocha caramel
honey milk tea
jasmine milk tea
strawberry peach green tea
green apple slush
also their frozen yogurt (original) is really good fresh n' tarty
The store is a decent sized, nicely decorated place. The owner is very nice and friendly. I don't know if anybody else works there but him since he's the only one that's been there by himself both the times I've stopped by... hmmmm, you could hire me? I could use a 3rd job =p
Anyways, the prices are decently priced. Since I love coconut, I usually get their pina colada or coconut. Their coconut is fairly good and the bobbas are just right, not too soft or hard.
So if you want a boba fix, stop by.

After a day of running errands, I decided to check out Jumpin' Boba after hearing all these great reviews about it! Jumpin' Boba is actually quite easy to find. Like most boba places, it's in an Asian strip mall. Look for the newer looking brick-colored strip mall on South Street with Hanmi Bank, Sports Authority and the Red Ribbon Bakery to find this place.
No lines when I went. Just Steve the owner typing away on his fancy laptop when I walked in. I tried to look inconspicuous since I didn't want him to know I was a Yelper. Hey! Yelpers have to remain some degree of anonymity to write honest reviews, right?
I decided to get their signature drink, "Jumpin' Milk Tea" with boba. This drink is essentially a regular milk tea on ice. A Jumpin Milk Tea w/ Boba = $2.95. Wow, way more expensive than Dolphin Bay, so I was expecting a "wow factor" from the drink!
Boy, The drink was actually quite good. Overlooking the cheap flimsy plastic cup with no logo on it, and the flimsy cap which kept coming off, the drink itself was quite good! The milk tea was not too sweet and not too bitter. The mild tea taste complimented the milk well. On ice, this drink was really good. Well, maybe even savory.
I like this place because it is not crowded. The prices are about the same as Tea Station's. Pricey for a drink, but I think the taste of the drinks and boba is worth it. Sweet, mild-honey flavor, and not too chewy or too hard, the boba is pretty good!

Is this a front for a religious endeavor?
Pretty funny for me to walk in and see advertisement posters on Bobba drinks. On the very fine small prints of each poster are quotes from the good book. Some from the good chapter of Cornithian and of course from the ever popular John 3:16.
The place is a real hole in the wall on a very deserted plaza. The shop is located on the side where all the offices are mostly at. It's next to a Tennis shop and very close to the Sports Authority sport store. Unless somebody happens to pass by, this would be a lousy place for a foot traffic for a tea shop. They should put this place near the restaurants rather next to boon dock.
The shop is very clean and well kept. Nice feeling about the place, but very empty when I came in. (If it's in a lousy location, why would I expect anyone else to be there?)
The cute girl who worked there was very friendly and super fast with the drink. Thank goodness the drink didn't taste like tap water because I don't know how the holy water can be transformed into a delicious bobba drink. It did work I guess. The drink was very creamy and sweet enough to be just right.
Sophia J. on the previous review stated it cost her $0.50 for bobbas, the nice girl only charged me $0.25! Hahahaha ... Suckas!!
I would gladly recommended anyone to come here for drinks, but the location was just a huge drawback. If their lease is up very soon, I would recommend them to opt out and search for a better place for foot traffic. It's very lonely to be the only person, not that I mind with a cute girl behind the counter!

Boba Snob at it again. On a quickie boba trip before heading out on a plane, I dipped into this place with my brother. I ordered a honey black milk tea boba. The pearls were pretty good, maybe just a touch overdone, maybe a 9/10 on a perfect 10 scale. I will definitely go to this Boba place again, since it is near my parents house. It has been years since I have been there and am glad to see it has survived. This was a new flavor for me as well, and I really liked it. I think my little brother will be going back to this boba stop since it is close to home. A good find for a quick boba when visiting the folks.

The honeydew milk tea is what I always get from here. It's good both hot and cold. Like everyone says, it's a real nice and clean environment inside. It's usually a ghost town in there though despite the quick, friendly service they provide. I think it's just cuz it's in a pretty dead plaza, but hey, you won't have a problem with parking.
Refreshing watermelon slush, excellent thai iced tea slush, and an immaculate restroom!
The beverages and hygienic facilities earn this establishment 4 stars, and they get an extra star for ditching the Fish 95.9 contemporary Christian crap. Henry Higgins was right: "You'll find more favour with the Lord if you learn not to offend his ears." Jesus is my personal friend, and I am no longer ashamed to invite him to coffee at Jumpin Boba.

This place has the best boba drinks I've ever tasted. The boba is always soft and not hard. I recommend the green apple, peach, or mango slush with boba. Too bad I dont live close to this place anymore...man...I don't even buy boba anymore since there's no Jumpin Boba in the bay area. That's how good it is.

Their boba is pretty Good. i use to work couple stores down, so our office would go there often.
i usually get the mango peach green tea with boba! or those blended coffee drinks with boba.
one thing i don't like is that they charge you like 50cents if you want boba in your drink. CMON Now.. its a "BOBA" shop... why charge for bobaballs?! ugh.
and the owner guy is kinda annoying. he always repeats himself and what i say like 839048098390 times. and sometimes he pretends to be nice but gives u attitude at the same time. but overalll the quality of the boba drink is very good~

I visited this place after all the great reviews but I have to say, my experience was just okay. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba (the charge for boba was a bit annoying, I'll admit) and it tasted just fine. It's more expensive than Lollicup up the street but the regular sized drink seemed smaller. Also, mine didn't have enough ice and my boba was way too soft for my liking. I may come back to try a different drink to see if I have a different experience.
I love the atmosphere at Jumpin Boba, with the subdued lime green and orange decor and pleasant lighting. The tea, fruit drinks, and boba are all very fresh from what I've experienced, and it's a nice, clean, fairly quiet (at least when I've been there) place to relax with some beverages. Since this place is a P and T family favorite, we often find ourselves here after family dinners. I think it's one of the better boba places in the area, though I'll still go to Tea Station if I really want some tea that will remind me of my days living in Taiwan (I really miss fresh kumquat tea, cold and hot, with whole kumquats in it; I haven't really found any in the immediate area, but I know I haven't tried every place). I love that Jumpin Boba has a Yelp sticker in the window now, and I respect that the owner Stephen got on here and wrote an honest review of his place without trying to pad the ratings. Bravo, Stephen, you have my warmest regards and I will certainly look forward to your grand re-opening.

Jumpin' Boba has the best boba! I am there practically every day. I order the passion-fruit green tea & the green tea; of course w/ double boba. I need to say, Steve makes the best green tea. Often times I get there when the tea is freshly made and he let's me have some. Yummy! - I have tried many other drinks, and they were all great!
I was wondering about Sophia's review. I've been going to Jumpin' Boba for years, and they have always charged only $0.25 for the boba. Perhaps, her calculator wasn't working that day. :) With all stores of this type, you only pay for what you want. Just because it's a boba place; doesn't necessarily mean you NEED to buy it; therefore you are charged accordingly. What if you didn't like boba? Do you think it would be a good business decision to not offer the drinks without the boba? If you don't want to pay the $0.25, get your drink without it and you could save your $0.25! - (Just a helpful hint to Sophia) Also, Steve is not rude or strange. He's a man that's full of life and very energetic. He's a great businessman; being personable and always welcoming his customers. I am not sure if Sophia was just having a bad day, or she is really that bitter. I hope today is a better day for her and hope she finds happiness.
Just to let you all know. The boba is done @ 11am, perfect timing for a wonderful brunch drink. Combinding the many tasty choices, with an amazingly clean restroom and great customer service, Jumpin' Boba gets 5 stars.
