Back in the 90s, the COW was actually a small bus that was painted white with black spots. It was very fun telling my math tutor that my friend and I rode the COW to get to a place and receiving an astonished "What?! You actually rode a moo animal?" response back.

As time and the economy changes, so does the fare of bus prices. No longer a quarter, it's now 50 cents to travel. Never fear though - if you ride this bus long enough, you can purchase a bus pass for $20 a month for unlimited rides. That's ... um, move two digits over, carry the 1,  ... as many rides as you want, duh!

Cerritos isn't a very large city, but it's kind of difficult to access everything here. It's all spread apart with lots of neighborhoods in between. There's not a lot of attraction here to hold my attention either when I walk, but on the bus - it makes everything seem a lot more attractive!
